DNR is a group of UCLA grad students and faculty members from the Philosophy Department (Rob and Jessica) and Medicine (Molly, Martha, Jason and Michael's L and G). We share a common "trivia addiction" and a healthy competitive streak. Some of us have been quiz regulars for at least 3 years, and some of us have experienced pub quizzes in the UK and Ireland. We select questions for our quizzes from a broad range of subjects, including U.S. and world history, movies (both old and new), popular and classical music, literature, sports and games, and current events. Our most avid question-writer, Michael L, is from South Africa, so you can expect a question about some part of the Commonwealth or the continent of Africa to pop up in each of our quizzes. Rob usually shies away from asking questions about philosophy, but he's not afraid to ask about racewalking, pasta varieties, and large herd animals.
