Recently, we decided to shorten our nom de plume to MOI because we are woefully and inescapably ignorant on hockey basics*. MOI is also tongue-in-cheek, since there are actually five of us, not just one...Get it?

It is deliciously incongruous, much like the team itself! We have a pair of researchers who work on the cutting edge of computer graphics, three Joneses (not all related), two graduate students, several proud UC-system alums, and some overlap in those categories.

Every few weeks, we test our friendship by trying to shoehorn disparate interests into a 30-question quiz. This collaboration often leads to inspired questions about public radio, classic literature, unfortunate-looking animals, and historical figures as they relate to popular animation. Our colorful handouts are designed to engage players - and strip an undisclosed government facility of its expensive toner. We strive to write quizzes that are both fun and aim to prove that despite our weekly scores, we sometimes know a thing or two. Except when it comes to hockey.

2. What parlor/board game has a name that is a combination of two common foreign language words, one French, the other German? (Hint: you can buy a glow-in-the-dark version from Parker Bros.)
3. Who is the only person inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio three times - once as a solo performer and twice for groups in which he was a member?
4. Of the following 3 composers, who died at the youngest age, and who at the oldest: Chopin, Mozart, Schubert?
5. Many celebrities have fallen victim to the vicious attacks by the Biotic Baking Brigade, Al-Pieda, and lone bakers. Only four of the following eight celebrities have not been hit a pie; for 1/2 pt each, name them. [2 pts]
